As the name suggests, the 38-volt 105Ah “CLASSIC” Bolt was developed for customers who just can’t let go of their vintage golf car. The 36-volt electrical system, for the most part, has been discontinued as 48- and 72-volt systems are much more efficient. Ranges, depending on how extreme the car is modified and how the car is loaded and driven, range from 15 to 35 miles.

The 51V 105Ah “MINI” Bolt was developed to be the most versatile golf car battery in the marketplace. There has yet to be a traditional golf car it does not fit in. Designed for use in all 48-volt power trains. Ranges, depending on how extreme the car is modified and how the car is loaded and driven, range from 20 to 50 miles.

The 51V 105Ah “THIN” Bolt was developed to be the easiest golf car battery (in certain models) to install in the marketplace. Golf Cars with the traditional “E-Z-GO” 22-inch-wide battery tray system, which many competitor vehicles have mimicked, accept this battery without the need for mounting brackets. Drill 4 holes into the tray, bolt, and your battery is mounted. This saves significant installation labor time. Although the shape of this battery will prevent use in ALL vehicles, it will still work in 90% of applications. Internally, it is built exactly the same as the MINI with the only difference being the dimensions. Designed for use in all 48-volt power trains. Ranges, depending on how extreme the car is modified and how the car is loaded and driven, range from 20 to 50 miles.

The 51V 160Ah “BIG” Bolt was developed for customers who need extended range but do not want the added expense double stacking our other models. BOLT ENERGY 105 AH 72V "POWER" LiFeP04 BATTERY
P/N BOBE-10572P Bolt Energy 72V "Power"
The 72V 105Ah “POWER” Bolt was developed for several reasons. First, extreme applications where customers increase the power (voltage) on demand needed due to modifications such as high-speed controllers and AC motors must upgrade to this battery. Second, 72-volt systems are much more efficient than 36- and 48-volt systems delivering almost as much wattage as the 51V “BIG”. In other words, ranges you see out of the “BIG” AND “POWER” batteries are almost equal even though the Ah rating is different. Some OEM golf car manufacturers are moving to 72-volt systems and Bolt Energy is ready for that market shift. Please be aware this battery will not fit in every golf car due to size! We recommend installing a "Pro Kits" whenever you are installing a lithium battery in a vehicle that is built prior to 2020.
We recommend using a Standard Kit when converting a new vehicle with stock accessories. If you plan on upgrading the motor and controller, then we recommend you purchase the "Pro Kit".
We always recommend that you use a Bolt Energy Approved dealer to install your new Bolt battery and accessories. Contact us to find the nearest dealer to you. On average, it takes a certified Bolt technician 4-5 hours to install the battery with standard kit. On average it takes a certified Bolt technician 5-6 hours to install a battery with "Pro Kit".
